“Confortável e prazerosa”

The pousada is a delight, just about 10 minutes from town, very quiet for those driving, and fairly close to the Buracão waterfall and the smoke. The room is spacious with good quality bedding and towels. The staff member Branca is exceptional, always ready to help, and prepared delicious breakfasts even when we needed to leave early for the trail. Words can’t describe her! There is no mini‑fridge in the room; there’s no Wi‑Fi outlet directly in the room, and sometimes the signal would fail (my operator, Vivo, had no signal in the area).

“Sossego e boa acolhida”

It’s a unique place, full of peace and marked by the friendliness of Dona Branca, who takes care of the space. Her attention to detail—from the breakfast treats to the room cleaning—and her kindness make you feel at home or visiting a dear friend. I haven’t felt so good in a stay before.

The staff at the pousada were very attentive and prepared a tasty breakfast with ingredients grown on the property. The room facilities (bed and air‑conditioning) are good. The scenery on the property is very beautiful. The accommodation is small, with only 4 rooms, able to host about 12 to 16 guests, which may explain why there is only one staff member for all services (check‑in, breakfast, cleaning), making it difficult when many guests arrive at once. Access is hard via a dirt road. There’s no restaurant on site for evening meals or a shared kitchen where you can cook, since the place is remote and there are few delivery options. It would also be useful if each room had its own mini‑fridge. There is only one shared mini‑fridge located in a separate building away from the rooms, where breakfast is served.

“Pode melhorar”

Breakfast is very good. The room is comfortable. The scenery is very pretty. The room light doesn’t turn off completely and the outside spotlight shines a lot on the window, making the area around it bright. There’s no mini‑fridge in the room. A shared fridge is available for guests, but it’s far from the room and only accessible during staff hours. There’s no lunch or dinner. It wouldn’t be a problem if there were a stove and/or microwave available without needing staff. A shared kitchen on site would be nice. Payment is required before check‑out.

“Local bem atrativo para ficar, mas falta de empatia do proprietário”

The place and its scenery were nice. I didn’t appreciate the owner’s lack of sensitivity; I had to leave a day early for personal reasons and asked for a partial refund or to keep a night to return another day, but the answer was a flat no.
