“A mejorar”

The hotel sits in a beautiful spot overlooking Koh Samui from afar, is very quiet, and the rooms are clean. The resident kittens are a bonus, especially since I’m not usually a cat person. The staff are pleasant, the pool is great, and the gym is also good. However, the room layout is poor and the air conditioning doesn’t reach the sleeping area. There are no bedside tables, only a single roll of toilet paper is provided each day, and free water is only offered on the first day. It has potential but lacks details and care, and the bar and restaurant prices are high.

“Prijs kwaliteit voor de standaarden in Thailand te duur.”

The pool and beach are nice, but the reception requires you to remove your shoes, and the beach bar is often closed, forcing you to go to reception to order (and you can’t enter without removing shoes). The infinity pool feels like a regular pool because the hedge blocks the beach view, so it doesn’t deliver an infinity‑pool experience.

“Prima resort voor de prijs, maar voelde niet gastvrij”

The pool and the beachfront restaurant/bar were nicely designed, and the resort felt lively during the day with a good position near other eateries, though you’ll need a scooter or taxi to get around. Our four garden bungalows varied noticeably in comfort despite being the same price; we enjoyed lunch there but were discouraged from dining in the evening because there was no activity, food, drink or a place to sit together, so we brought our own lighting. One night we were locked out of our room after 22:00 and couldn’t reach anyone on the emergency number. You couldn’t really walk straight into the sea, but that was already known.

“Definitely stay there again at my next trip”

Amazing staff, Beach front hotel with restaurant at a main area with shops and food. Best hotel I ever stayed in phangan. Too much fun 🤣
