The hotel looked gorgeous, but the service was terrible: the whole day the door stayed open, keys were left in the lock, so anyone could walk in, the room was never cleaned or made, it seemed like the cleaning lady had vanished. The manager was absent, unreachable by phone, and my emails were ignored—this is absolutely unacceptable!

What a fantastic house—its architecture alone is impressive, and it’s packed with collectibles! The owners’ passion is evident, making us feel like we were inside a museum, and the breakfast had many lovely touches.

A fun spot in a great location at a very reasonable price, perfect as a base for tours out of Bayeux, including Band of Brothers and MT. St. Michel. Nothing to complain about.
