The place sits beautifully right on the lake, offering a fantastic view of the lake, the mountains, and Neuschwahnstein Castle; perfect for relaxing, with excellent breakfast and meals. We will definitely return. Unfortunately, the café was closed for two days.

Breakfast was great, covering everything needed for a good start. The location is superb, and we rode our bikes almost all the time even in rainy weather. I understand the owners need a day off; on Wednesday we were hoping to enjoy coffee in the lovely garden, but that was not possible.

Breakfast was very extensive, the location excellent, rooms simple and clean, and the staff friendly and communicative. The bathroom was basic with minor defects, and rooms were not cleaned daily.

The spot right on the lake with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle is wonderful. After the evening swimmers leave, the shore feels almost private. The pier of the Forggensee ferry is within walking distance, and Füssen is reachable by car in 10‑15 minutes. I stayed in a mid‑range room with a side lake view and was satisfied. On the balcony you can enjoy the evening view of the reservoir. The room’s equipment is simple but everything is well maintained and very clean.

The location is incredible, the view magnificent, and the staff very friendly, especially the lady at breakfast. The breakfast is superb. There is on‑site parking, and if you’re not averse to cold, you can swim in the lake. Fussen is nearby and quickly reachable by road. The carpet and bedding in the room could use replacement.
