The onsen was great, but the price was too high.

The view from the entrance and the low‑temperature hot spring were nice, but the slippers were reused and slipped onto other guests in the bath, which was unhygienic. The in‑room amenities were sparse, and the quality of the bath amenities was mediocre. The futon was already laid out, which made the room feel cramped and was disappointing.

The food was tasty, the onsen was superb, and there was free beer, wine, and sake in the evenings. The beds and pillows in our Japanese‑style room were very hard, which was expected given the room type.

I couldn’t order breakfast or dinner with my booking, which was very disappointing; the hotel couldn’t handle meals for all guests, and the Wi‑Fi was terrible, like from the 2000s, making the expensive stay unacceptable.
