The location was very good, the room was well furnished, but the bathroom was a bit small. The proximity to the city centre and the friendly staff were appreciated.

The breakfast was decent and well portioned. The bathroom was very small, the shower had a curtain, and the pillows were too firm and uncomfortable. Breakfast was served with several small dogs in a relatively cramped room, and the owners seemed to care little about hygiene. No dogs were allowed on the arm or near the buffet; that was not possible.

We enjoyed a pleasant stay at Pension Regina, which sits on the quieter side of Cochem. From the promenade in front of the house, you can look straight at the castle. The rooms are simple with comfortable beds. The owners are very nice and made us feel welcome immediately. Breakfast was simple but included tasty coffee, rolls, and some homemade jam. Everything else needed for breakfast was available. Every morning we were asked if we needed anything else. We did not use the room cleaning service because we made our own beds and spent little time in the room. We believe we received the welcome basket with wine, water, and cookies, which we found in the room after a few days. Everything was to our satisfaction; you just have to know it’s a pension, not a hotel.

“Gelungener Aufenthalt!”

My parents were very impressed with the service and the staff. The room was small but absolutely sufficient. The pension was very clean. Very good!
