Wow wow wow, what a building and location! We had an exceptional stay, the grounds, hall and room were second to none. We'll definitely be back! One of the best places we've ever stayed. Absolutely nothing!

It was stunning, it will be amazing once they finish restoring it in full. Beautiful grounds, great location, an incredible building with lots of history to soak up. I loved reading how the local school children help maintain part of the gardens. My own fault, I didn’t read up on it full before booking. I didn’t realise it didn’t have staff, a bar or restaurant and that they’ve only restored 3 of the rooms. With that said, it was a few minutes walk from the town centre and we didn’t need anyone to assist us. The room facilities were plentiful, clean, and after reading through the plans they have, it’s going to be fantastic and would like to return in the future

The breakfast was a lovely surprise . Exceeded our expectations. The cans of wine in the fridge were the icing on the cake. The bed was huge and very comfortable, the bedding crisp and beautifully laundered. No complaints
