“Carina ma non perfetta”

The place was perfectly situated, the beds were comfortable and clean, and they let us drop off luggage before check‑in and after check‑out. The staff and cleaning lady were friendly, and the atmosphere was welcoming. The style was very charming in both the lobby and the rooms and bathrooms. Despite some worn and broken items, the room still felt clean. However, the room was a bit worn out; many things were broken from general wear and previous guests, a frame had a broken latch that could have fallen, an abajour next to a bed was destroyed and dangerous, and the shower in the bathroom had heavy limescale and was partially blocked. The fridge didn’t work—turned on but didn’t cool. The TV had no antenna connection, so it only showed snow. The only mirror was in the bathroom.

The location was ultra‑central and convenient from the station, and the room had been recently renovated. For check‑in I received seven emails, and I had no patience to wait. I couldn’t open the gate, called four times, and got no response. The sheet was too small for the bed, often lifted, and the mattress was full of hair. The restaurant was under the window, so the room was noisy. The description mentioned a jacuzzi, but it was just a regular shower. I paid an extra 40 € for room cleaning at the time of booking.
