The property was spotless and tidy, the bar and outdoor area were nice, and breakfast helped you start the day. A pleasant walk along the river was a bonus. The only downside was that our room faced the main road, so traffic was loud; the hotel can't change that. Also, if you drive there, you won't find an evening restaurant nearby.

The windows in the hotel didn’t close properly. Our room was right above the bar, so we could hear the karaoke loud in the room.

The staff were lovely and friendly 😊 but the place smelled awful and looked run‑down.

The public bar was cozy, and there was secure bike parking. The bedroom was warm. The place really needs a serious refurbishment and a lot of money. The bedroom was big enough but very old‑fashioned, and the ensuite was poor. The toilet flush had to be pumped several times to work, and it took 15 minutes to refill. The shower barely produced water, and after waiting 10 minutes it was only tepid.
