Michael, the innkeeper and chef, whipped up excellent breakfasts on both days, but the stay was only two nights.

The freshly cooked breakfasts were excellent. Particularly loved the raspberry scones and the frittata was one of the best I ever ate. The different seating areas outside were a great place to relax. The location was perfect for the town centre and the coast

We spent a winter night with Mike, who handled everything from being a wonderful, accommodating chef (don’t skip the delicious breakfast!) to cleaning and handyman duties; he makes guests feel like old friends. Every room was beautiful yet not fully operational—seasonal, with some public areas under repair, which is understandable given the low clientele and limited help that time of year.
