“It was a nice break away- relaxing and quiet.”

Cher was amazing and very helpful when we arrived, and the hot tub was a lovely feature. All the essentials were available—plates, washing-up liquid, tea towels, etc.—and the little touches were appreciated. A few areas needed extra dusting, visible on the lights and where a picture had been removed.

“Amazing stay”

We stayed in the 3‑bedroom Elm lodge, which is a bit dated but seems to be the first lodge they built. We absolutely loved the privacy in the hot tub and the lodge itself was very spacious. The only downside was the dated furniture and tables; a slight renovation would bring it up to date, but that doesn’t detract from the overall experience. The site is amazing, the owners are incredible, attentive, and always on hand for anything you need—no fault can be found. They have just renovated one of their other lodges, so it looks like all the lodges will eventually be updated.

“The lodge was just amazing,peaceful, relaxing will definitely go back”

The location was easy to find and peaceful, exactly what I wanted, with a nearby town for shopping—perfect. I was greeted by Cher and Stan the dog; Cher was so attentive. The place is amazing, quiet, and we had a great time. The lodge itself had everything we needed; honestly, everything was perfect—I loved it so much and look forward to booking again. Thanks, Cher, for everything—you were fabulous. x love Karen & Ian xx

The host was very welcoming, came to show us everything we needed, and was happy to help. The cabin included everything we needed for our stay.
