Rocky Homestay Lakey

“Rocky Homestay all the way!”

The homestay had a beautiful garden and a lovely outside terrace with a hammock and a table. There was also a barbeque which we used to make dinner several times with Rocky. Rocky puts so much effort into making the experience at the homestay welcoming and helped us with any request we needed. You can tell how much he loves Lakey Peak, the jungle and the lifestyle in Sumbawa, all of which he shares with contagious energy. The location is right next to Nungas beach, and a 2 minute scooter ride away from the Lakey Peak surf break. Overall this homestay is one of the best I have ever been to, thank you Rocky!!!

“Muy buena”

The place was very comfortable, with excellent facilities. The garden was beautiful with a terrace and a kitchen (not commonly found in local accommodations) and super clean; they come to clean every morning. Rocky, his wife, and daughter were charming and very attentive. The location was perfect, next to the beach and the Nangas surf break for those who like surfing. The people around, such as those at Ali's chiringuito, were very close. Definitely a place I recommend.

We spent a wonderful week at Rocky's, quiet, with a superb garden. The accommodation has two large rooms and the terrace is great. Rocky and his wife are very pleasant and quick to respond to taxi and scooter rental requests. We hope to return one day.

Rocky Homestay sits in lovely gardens close to Nungas beach, and the beds are comfy with a private outdoor area to unwind during the day. Rocky, his wife, and Pierre next door are all friendly, and Pierre shares great local tips. Walking to Lakey Peak takes about 20 minutes, or you can hop on a motorbike for a shorter ride. There are a few nearby eateries, or you can drive a short distance further toward Lakey Peak. I appreciated the location and the quiet spot to relax between surfing and other activities.
