The lady at reception was lovely. The room door failed, but she swapped our room without issue and was very kind and apologetic. Things happen—what matters is the response. The room and its facilities are fine, and there’s plenty of parking in Central Cortez. No issues at all.

I really appreciated the hospitality of the front‑desk clerk; she was great and extremely helpful! I just wish there were more towels.

I stayed in an older building that just felt rundown; cracks appeared around the door and, being on the ground floor, bugs might have slipped in.

The spot in Cortez close to Mesa Verde National Park was clean and the staff were outstanding, but the bed was hard and squeaked whenever anyone shifted.
