The spot is perfect—just next to Thomas Beach and a short walk to restaurants, cafes, and shops. The room was spacious and the staff friendly. The downside is that the room sits right next to the kitchen, so food smells seep in even with the door closed. The lighting could be softer for those with sensitive eyes.

The location is unbeatable—right next to Jungle Mart and scooter rentals, with a private courtyard that’s very quiet. The sense of community in the area is great. No complaints.

The experience was disgraceful and humiliating. We had a reservation until January 3 but were forced to leave on the 1st due to serious threats, causing emotional distress and the urgent need to find another room on a very busy date—New Year’s and my birthday on the 2nd. All we asked was for a bed change with fresh sheets and blankets, but the owner said that was not customary in his hotel or in Bali. When we insisted, he swore at us, demanded we leave, or threatened to force us out. The worst experience ever, utterly surreal—customers should never be treated like this. Now that we’re back in Spain, we’ll file a complaint; we have the WhatsApp threats and disrespect. Sincerely, Nina Kulyova.
