The property is very well located in the centre of Ripon, the staff were lovely and helpful, and the bar was great; however, some rooms have zero hotel Wi‑Fi, which was frustrating.

Nice basic room. Small bathroom but with a nice shower. Good pub for a drink and food, and it is excellently located. Parking is available nearby. Plenty of restaurants and cafes just yards away. Staff were very friendly

We received a very warm and friendly welcome, but the kitchen was closed that night and the tapas bar opposite was recommended; I couldn’t get the sash window to stay open, the room lights were very dim except for the bedside lamps, and there was no light over the desk, making it unsuitable for work.

The location is great, the room was fresh and clean, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good; nothing to complain about.

The bicycles can be stored in a secure space; the hygiene and quality of the mattresses were lacking.
