“Super sweet and helpful staff, we really enjoyed it for our short stay.”

The staff were very helpful and sweet, even unexpectedly shuttling us to the train station when we checked out (they might have done the same on the way there, but we walked from our previous place). Dinner looked tasty, but remember you need to book ahead (we didn’t and missed out!). English was limited but it worked fine for us :) The big Onsen bath was great. The beds could have been slightly more comfortable, but they were fine for us with amazing proximity to the snow and slopes. You could probably throw a beer out the window to people on the lift (we loved it, but it might feel a bit intrusive for some).

The location is ski‑in ski‑out. It’s a 10‑minute walk to all the main restaurants. All the facilities you need are there and the hosts are amazing.

“Best guest house in Myoko”

The ski‑in‑out guest house is superb and probably the best value you can find in Myoko. I felt truly welcomed into a Japanese home. The owners were incredibly kind and went above and beyond. First, they picked me up at the train station late at night and even gave a lift to a friend staying at a different hotel that didn’t offer a shuttle at that hour. The next day they took me to the rental shop and dropped me back at the train station. They offered to return my skis, which was extremely helpful. Third, the dinner was amazing—truly delicious, home‑style Japanese food. The only thing to note is that it’s a true Japanese guesthouse, so the bathroom facilities are shared and onsen‑style. The heating system runs on kerosene, but the heater was fantastic after a cold day of skiing. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay! Everything was great.

“這次的住宿體驗非常得好，當主人知道我們來自台灣的時候非常熱烈的歡迎我們提供許多，我認為不是旅館必須的協助給我們 包含學票也主動幫我們跟不需要的客人殺價，他可以不賺錢也要服務我們”

The host welcomed us like family, giving plenty of helpful info since we don’t speak Japanese. The mattress felt a bit soft and I wasn’t used to it, but that’s just a personal preference.
