The building looked old but was spotless and comfortable, and I enjoyed the night‑time deer‑watching tour as well as the morning trip to the source of the Yabashiro River. On the downside, some guests might find the high‑pitched mechanical whine that rang out in the middle of the night hard to sleep through.

The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay feel really welcoming. However, the view from our room was a bit of a letdown, and the room itself was a bit sparse on amenities.

The hotel had a really cool mini-tour that we got to join, which was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great experience.

The food at the hotel was amazing - both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style and super fresh and tasty. Plus, the location was really quiet and had a beautiful view. But, the room's entrance was a bit narrow, and we had to be careful not to get our shoes stuck when we took them off, and the door sometimes wouldn't close properly.
