The area is very nice and the hotel itself is clean and good, but the gate—both the hotel gate and the university gate—caused a lot of trouble; they always make it hard to get in, and when I asked a receptionist, she was extremely rude and started screaming at me, saying it wasn’t my problem and asking who I should talk to instead.
Everything was fine.
The hotel’s website gave misleading information about the pool; my family came expecting it, but it has been out of service for a long time, which is dishonest.
“Excellent”
The quality of the establishment, its ideal location, the excellent service, and impeccable dining were all outstanding, and there was nothing to complain about.
“Efficient stay but accomodation missing comfyness”
The front desk staff were great, breakfast ranged from good to great, and overall the place was spotless. However, the shower tap only supplies hot water—apparently it was wired incorrectly to the pipes—so you can’t finish a shower in one go; this is a huge plumbing error that would be hard to fix now that the shower is tiled. The contractor must have accepted it, which is a huge waste. The blackout curtains are installed far from the window, so you can’t block street light even at dawn, and the pillows—being a Hilton sub‑brand—are only soft, no firm option, which suggests a lack of training or inventory control. Aside from those issues, the comfort and everything else were good to great; it’s a real waste.
