The staff were kind and not homophobic at all. The view is beautiful, and the balconies of the rooms are wonderful. The stairs are quite steep and there is no elevator.

The breakfast was a la carte, tasty, and plentiful. The comfort of the room, especially the bathroom, left something to be desired; everything feels dated and needs renovation. The toilet flush was very loud and sometimes defective.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Vista Ballena. Sitting by the pool with a cocktail, watching the sunset over the ocean—what more could you want? The staff deserve special praise: every single person was incredibly friendly, and we really enjoyed spending time with them. Breakfast and dinner were both delicious, beautifully presented with great attention to detail. We would definitely book again.
