We were welcomed warmly and kindly when we arrived, the room was spacious with a kitchen and a fairly complete bathroom, and the stay was pleasant; everything was fine.

“Not What We Expected.”

The location was decent. The room was clean, with fairly fresh furniture and good aesthetics. The coffee situation was dire: there was no kettle or coffee maker in the room, and the only coffee machine was in a cramped hallway in a makeshift former living room that also served as the reception and entryway to several guest rooms. Coffee pods cost €1 each, and the machine would swallow the money without dispensing any pods. There were no water bottles or dispensers, so we had to get drinking water from the bathroom tap. A large gap between the headboard and the mattress meant the pillows kept falling into it during the night. The bed was generally uncomfortable, with poor‑quality pillows. We also hit ourselves quite hard several times on the hard edges of the bed because of the cramped space. Overall, it felt more like a hostel than a three‑star accommodation. The hairdryer was very poor quality, becoming excessively hot and burning the hair instead of drying it properly because it had no airflow.
