“A cozy place by the sea”
We stayed in pavilion F, the upper floor of a little cottage at the back of the hotel grounds. Though it doesn’t have a real sea view, the balcony with lovely wooden loungers is a huge perk, and the traffic noise is lower. You can park your car right next to the cottage. The outside stairs might be an issue for elderly guests or those with mobility problems. The room was decorated with great attention to detail and immediately impressed with its brightness and cleanliness. All amenities are available, except for a safe deposit box. The bathroom is bright, modern, and clean. The sloping ceiling might bother people over 1 m 80. We were sad to leave the room so soon; it felt very homely. No safe deposit box in the room. The refrigerator leaked condensation, soaking the items we had put inside. Breakfast in the main building was bland, and the coffee was the blandest. Also, we didn’t like having to pre‑book the time for breakfast the next day – it added unnecessary pressure to our stay.
