It was a wonderful retreat and a place for relaxation away from the fun and bustling Porto, and I loved the short boat trip from the hotel. The facilities were great and the staff were wonderful.

The calm atmosphere, the distinctiveness of the place, the stellar dining at the second restaurant, the staff’s immense kindness, the impeccable cleanliness, and the interior décor with a very confident taste all stood out. One small detail: the Deluxe room would benefit from an antique piece of furniture, like a dresser, to add a bit more character in line with the contemporary‑old mix that dominates the common areas.
