Die Plasie on-suite rooms

“Tessa the amazing host”

Tessa was an amazing host, making us feel comfortable and handling the kids wonderfully. The place is stunning and offers plenty of on-site activities; the kids played all day and loved the animals—absolutely amazing 👏

“Staying at Die Plassie was very nice. It was home away from home. We had fresh flowers on check in.”

The host, Tessa, is a wonderful person and a great host

The staff were friendly and the atmosphere warm, but the bedding and pillows were very old and worn out. We rarely had warm water because the units shared a geyser, and the bathroom sign didn’t clarify when the neighboring unit would use water, so it was hard to plan our baths. On the morning of check‑out there was no hot water, forcing us to leave the property without a shower. Individual gas geysers per unit would solve this and avoid extra electricity costs. Despite these issues, the weekend was pleasant enough, and the staff’s friendliness and the animals made up for the discomfort

“Half and half.”

The place was perfect and reasonable, yet we experienced hot water problems that were unacceptable in winter
