The chalet I stayed in was G, very spacious with a room, kitchen, balcony, and bathroom; it had a fireplace and firewood, a fridge, stove, sink, counter, microwave, cabinets, filter, coffee maker, and utensils. The bed was comfortable, the bedding was high quality and spotless, and the pillows were good. The balcony view was beautiful because the chalet sits high up. There’s a gorgeous mosaic hot tub outside with a view and heated water. A grill and a balcony are in the back of the kitchen with a sink, etc. The chalet was very clean and sanitized, everything in its proper place. The shower was great, with a Blindex box and a wooden countertop sink; even the bathroom had a view of nature. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety. The outdoor area is lush, with a lake, flowers, trees, creek water, and well preserved surroundings. There’s a pool for those who like it. Horlando and Dalila, the owners, are very kind and welcoming. A market near the lodge is run by Horlando and his family, and it has everything you could need.

“Pousada com uma vista encantadora, amei!!”

The place is absolutely stunning, with a breathtaking view and a real connection to nature; we stayed in the highest chalet, H8, and the host was very attentive, setting up a grill for us to cook at night and providing firewood for the cold evenings, plus we received a complimentary cheese. It’s a long drive from town—about 20 km on a dirt road—but the tranquility of the lodge makes it worthwhile; bring your own food and drinks, though a nearby grocery store is available.
