“Séjour mitigé, nous sommes restés une nuit au lieu de trois.”

I liked the location near the Temple d’Or and the bedding was fairly comfy, plus the breakfast was good—though no coffee was offered. The room had AC and a fan, but the reception was mixed; when we asked if we could dine on site at night they said it would be cheaper outside, and they gave no Wi‑Fi details. Light blocking was minimal—a simple curtain—yet an outdoor light stayed on all night. The bathroom was not very functional: no soap holder, no shower curtain or walls. After dinner, the owner's dogs got aggressive; we tried calling the owner twice with no answer, but luckily a neighbor passed by.

I had a very pleasant stay at this beautiful place. The surroundings are lovely, and my room was clean and very well equipped, with a mosquito net, air conditioning, and a fan — everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Dambulla Cave Temple, which makes it very convenient for visiting. The owner and his family are very kind and welcoming. They organized a safari for me at Hurulu Eco Park as well as a visit to Pidurangala Rock with a driver, which made everything easy and convenient. The breakfast was excellent and very generous. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice and comfortable stay

It was a very pleasant experience. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast fantastic, the rooms spotless, and the beds superb. I have nothing but positive things to say.

The room was decent. The hosts are friendly, smiling, and helpful. The Wi‑Fi in the room works very poorly.
