The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and alert, especially when I was ill for three days – top service. The pool “master” was always friendly, and there was a library where I borrowed and finished two books; it was great to find books in my own language 14,000 km from home. The room was dated, but there was one comfortable chair.

The whole resort was very nice and the staff were super friendly. The location is rather bad; for trips to Gili Air or generally northward it’s okay, but around the hotel there was almost nothing. You had to walk at least ten minutes to reach a restaurant. On arrival we got a room with a moldy air‑conditioner, which we luckily managed to change. Overall everything is in an old condition and should be modernised again.

The room’s location and size were good. There was no lift, too many stairs, and no ironing facility.

Directly on the beach, great swimming pools, and the connecting room with our kids was perfect; there was nothing negative.
