The staff were friendly and the room stayed clean. Because we stayed in a cabin, there was no noise from other guests or slamming doors, and the shower water warmed up quickly. The on‑site restaurant moved us to the front of the wait list just because we were staying there, cutting the wait to 45‑60 minutes. The beds, however, were not comfortable, the shower head sprayed water everywhere, and the floor became slippery after applying liquid soap.

The location was great, the mattress was comfortable and warm, but there was no closet or dresser.

The country setting and accommodations were beautiful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the inn did not mention that the restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday, the days we had booked and chose the inn for the restaurant. The telephone service is spotty, but you can connect to their Wi‑Fi; I don’t use other Wi‑Fi, so an almost tech‑free two days ended up being fine.

The lodge was clean, comfortable, quiet, and a peaceful escape from the chaos. The staff were wonderful, friendly, and welcoming. Unfortunately, the tavern was closed during our stay. We’ll return in the middle to late part of the week when the tavern is open so we can enjoy it as well.
