The staff were great and the facility is very good, but the location feels more run down than it did in recent years, which is obviously not the hotel’s fault.

The room was comfortable, quiet, and the spa had nice details like water, coffee, infusions, a bathrobe, and slippers. The coffee at the breakfast buffet had to be ordered from the waiters, and with so many guests it took a long time to be served, so I ended up eating cold toast. They should have several coffee machines so guests can make it themselves whenever they want, as in all other 5‑star hotels. That was a negative point. The welcome at the entrance was dull, no water was offered; in other 5‑star hotels you’re greeted with a glass of cava. We were put in a room far from the main pool where there was more atmosphere, even though there were free rooms closer.

The staff treatment is excellent, but the rooms, though renovated, still have some issues. To charge a phone you had to unplug the lamp, which is very uncomfortable in a 5‑star hotel today. The elevators also lacked a proper inspection and fine‑tuning.
