The shabu‑shabu was great, but the sushi seemed spoiled and had a fishy odor that made me lose appetite – a real disappointment. Otherwise, everything else tasted good. The breakfast side dishes were cold, which was a let‑down.

The hot spring was wonderful and the whole facility felt clean. I was a little bummed that I couldn’t change the room lighting.

I don’t want to flatter the staff too much, but they were courteous and never made me feel uneasy; when I asked something, they answered without a frown, which was nice. Personally, I think a modest upgrade to the amenities could make the cost‑performance even better.

The location is unbeatable – from the room you can see Mount Myōgi and the golf course greens right in front. The room itself was tidy and comfortable, and the all‑inclusive drinks gave a great bang for the buck.
