The rooms are the best budget option in Gokarna, clean and well kept, and it’s the closest spot to the temple and the beach.

Everything you need was there, the owners and housekeeper were friendly, and it’s right in the centre – you’ll start feeling hot from March onward. A few extra hooks for clothes would be nice.

“I would stay here again.”

The property sits 4‑5 doors from the Lord Mhabaleshwar Temple entrance, the Gokharna bus station is within walking distance, and there are plenty of shops nearby with breakfast‑and‑lunch options close by; an Omkar ice‑cream shop is across the street, plus bike rentals and Hindu‑ritual shops. I stayed in a non‑AC room that was clean, the washroom was good, and the compact size was comfortable for the price and location – no complaints. Free drinking water was available and a paid coffee machine was present but didn’t work during my stay. Wifi was solid. Overall, I’d stay again. The room I used was a bit small for my comfort, but the price and location made up for it. The washroom was decent, yet there was a lot of dust under the mattress that seemed uncleaned, and cobwebs in the washroom should have been removed; minor issues that need attention.

Great spot, close to the beach and restaurants. Wifi and hot water worked fine, and the staff were amazing, cooperative, polite and helpful!

“Very Good Choice for Families and Backpackers especially Great Location and Good Amenities”

The room’s table, closet, bed were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. The location was excellent, right beside the Main Temple, and all main sites, food spots and hotels are nearby. No TV was a big let‑down – the reception told me only AC rooms get a TV. The walls had dust; management should fix that and add TVs to non‑AC rooms.
