“Stunning view of the ocean, perfect location”

I liked everything about this property, starting off with the view from my room, which stole the show, stunning view, the hotel is just on the beach. spacious, clean and nice rooms. The breakfast was really good. limited options, but whatever I ate during my 4 days of stay was the best breakfast I had. The ladies at the reception Maneesha and Karina, they were both such sweet, kind and helpful girls, gave us all the recommendations and were always available to help when needed. I will surely stay at the same property when I return to Ahangama. Absolutely nothing. Loved everything

The stay at Soul Temple Boutique Hotel was unforgettable. The location is fantastic, the hotel itself is gorgeous and tranquil, and the people made everything special. The staff and owner were genuinely sweet, warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Maneesha was absolutely wonderful and added to the memorable experience! I’ll definitely return and can’t recommend this place enough.

“Luxurious Sanctuary on South Coast of Sri Lanka”

The vibe and aesthetics of this property are unmatched in the area, beautifully assembled and an excellent base for a retreat on the south coast. Service, coffee and food are flawless, matching 5‑star standards without doubt. Staff are friendly and take effort to learn your preferences. Filtered water is freely available. Great spot for exploring Ahangama’s coffee shops and restaurants. Sellam Gym sits just over the train tracks and the station itself is gorgeous. The surf school linked to the hotel is excellent; we were a beginner and a novice, and the instructors were great. The skate ramp could use some work. Ahangama is busy and developing, unrelated to this amazing hotel but worth noting. Cisterns didn’t always refill in the toilet in the room. The bathroom window had no latch to close at night – the hotel is in a noisy part of town right next to Uncles, which has a couple of karaoke nights – they warn you repeatedly. Only two sun loungers, so it can get tricky if the hotel is busier. TukTuk drivers across the road harangue you, and every trip turns into a hard sell on where else they can take you. Annoying but typical in Sri Lanka, not really a hotel issue.

The cleanliness, reception and friendly staff were constantly at our service, and the location is excellent, close to cafés. The restaurant near the hotel can be noisy late at night.

This stylish boutique hotel sits right on the beachfront in the heart of Ahangama. Rooms are spotless, bathrooms are spacious, and the balcony offers a beautiful ocean view. Staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, with Maneesha making me feel at home throughout. The only caveat is that the hotel borders popular beach bars, so music can be loud until late at night – part of Ahangama’s surf vibe, but if you want complete silence, keep that in mind before booking. Overall, a great choice for a stylish stay in the middle of the action.
