“These people are scammers & I have reported them. DO NOT BOOK HERE.”
I was denied my stay at this property and refused a refund. I had booked and paid online through the platform. I received my booking confirmation, which I attached as a screenshot here. I did not receive any check‑in details. When I called the number listed via direct call it didn’t go through. I messaged the number on WhatsApp saying I had just made a booking and that I was on my way. Upon arriving at the property, I called the caretaker who came out and told me the listing is fully booked and they didn’t receive my booking. She said the property does not use it is on the Airbnb platform. She said she isn’t the one who deals with the bookings, the office does and they said there is no booking. She refused to give me the number for the people at the so‑called office and refused to call them to sort out the issue. She walked away from me and went back in the house. I requested a free cancellation since it is a non‑refundable booking. The property still has not got back to me and it has been two days now. I have reported the property via the appropriate channels who are investigating the matter. The people of this property are scammers! DO NOT BOOK HERE. The photos also do not match what the property looks like currently. There is a completely different gate and there is no longer any sign that says this is Urban Space Lodge. I don’t know what has happened with this property but it seems like they have become a scam. All previous reviews besides mine and the most recent one from 1 November 2026, are all from 2025. That also says something.
