The place is decent for the price; paying more would be unjustified. It feels a bit dated and could use a renovation or at least some touch‑ups.

“Nu recomand!”

The location is great, you can walk to all the main sights. I was given a Deluxe quadruple room, supposedly meant for 2 adults and 2 children, but the staff agreed to swap it for two separate double rooms that were acceptable. Rooms are cleaned daily. The quadruple room was awful, the conditions were inhumane. The bathroom was like a public toilet, with a horrible stench of mildew, and all furniture and equipment were degraded. The worst part was that there was no window for natural light and fresh air; when you open the window, it opens onto the hotel lobby. The whole hotel has an old vibe and a stale smell. The photos are misleading and don't match reality.

The hotel was very pleasant, the staff helpful and friendly. The room was cleaned daily, towels were changed regularly, basic toiletries were in the bathroom, and the air conditioning worked, though it was a bit noisy but didn't disturb sleep. The location is great, right next to the tourist attraction Basilica Santa Maria Magiorre, a 2‑minute walk to the metro and 15 minutes to the Colosseum and Forum Romanum, about 20 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. For the price, it's really worth it. There are plenty of cafés around for a tasty breakfast and coffee, and there's also a supermarket. I will definitely return to Rome and stay here again. Stay was July 2026.
