“Basic - Does the job”
The location was good and the sea‑view room looked lovely. Breakfast was just right for a short stay. The parking was severely limited. They charged extra to use the in‑room safe, which is crazy and something I'd never seen before. There were no toiletries in the room, only hand soap, and no iron or kettle. The staff were indifferent, with no friendly greetings or conversation. They gave us the wrong room and offered nothing in compensation. Overall it was a basic stay.

I liked everything about the cleaning staff, the organization, the breakfast – everything was great. Nothing to complain about.
Good breakfast and an excellent sea view. The building is on a very steep slope and the main entrance isn’t visible. The bathroom needs renovation. The bathtub and sink didn’t drain water smoothly.

The location was really good. The restaurants and Funchal city were close enough. The pool area was cozy and spacious enough, with comfortable sun loungers. The room’s air conditioning wasn’t the best. When I entered the room, the lobby had an unpleasant air‑conditioning smell. In the future I’d like to have one wide bed instead of two separate beds.
