Everyone on staff seemed friendly, and they took care of us with welcome drinks, sunset cocktails, and even a shower room, while the buffet was tasty. The shuttle service was far too scarce, making a rental car essential to get anywhere, and we waited over an hour outside for the coin‑laundry; they should either improve the system or install machines in the rooms. Sharing a room with four people meant just one bathroom and one toilet, which was inconvenient.

Fantastic! The location is great, and the staff were very friendly and helpful, doing their best to speak English and help us arrange a rental car and activities. The hotel would not be perfect without their support. The facilities were clean, the view was nice, and the restaurant was good. Free shuttle bus service. Highly recommended.

The beachside location was super quiet. The rooms were very spacious, with balconies and sea views (Superior‑double rooms). The staff were very helpful, some speaking English. The hotel offered appealing free daily activities (delicious pineapple tasting, champagne sundowner on the beach). There were many activities to book, such as bike rental, snorkeling, kayak tours, and especially the canoe trips through the mangrove forests – truly unique. Contrary to older reviews, the bathroom had plenty of toiletries. The breakfast buffet was very abundant but offered little for Western tastes. What we didn’t like was that only plastic dishes were provided for both breakfast and dinner. Also, even outside the typhoon season, the ferries from Uehara can be cancelled (this happened to us on the way back). As a replacement, you have to take the ferry from Ohara, which is about 40 minutes away from the hotel and has different departure times; this should be considered when planning your trip.

The staff were very helpful and the hotel offered a good list of activities. The location was excellent. Breakfast could be better, and the rooms and facilities feel a bit dated now.
