After arriving, I spent 25 minutes trying to locate the building because there was no sign saying HOTEL PALETTE; at 3 am on the 25th I risked entering a building that I thought was HOTEL PALETTE, but no one answered, not even the watchman, and no phone number was listed. I eventually found a number linked to the Oyo group of lodges, which are known for very low standards in India; no respectable person would consider staying at an Oyo lodge in any city because of its terrible reputation. If I had known that HOTEL PALETTE was part of that group when I booked, I would have chosen a different option.
