We booked a pricey 2x queen room for mother, father and daughter, yet the hotel claimed one of the beds should be a sofa‑bed as “standard.” After returning to reception to sort it out, we were moved to a proper 2x queen room, which felt more like a favor than a correction. Breakfast was the worst we’ve ever had—no real options, nothing truly gluten‑free except fruit, and the plates and cutlery were paper or plastic. It was the worst hotel stay of our 10‑day family trip.

The room was clean and well maintained, no complaints there. However, the parking lot never got plowed during the snowstorm, so every car got stuck. New guests couldn’t even enter the lot, and we struggled to leave. Neighboring hotels managed some plowing, but Fairfield Inn did nothing, and the front desk was useless. If not for the parking mess, I would have rated this higher. I’m still stuck in the lot a day later.
