After a massive train delay we had to stay in Hamburg on short notice, and Hotel Bismarck turned out to be a great pick. Check‑in was smooth, fast, and very friendly. The room was clean, tidy, and offered exactly the comfort and quiet we needed after the travel stress. Its proximity to the main station is unbeatable if you need to head out the next day.

The room we booked was only reachable through several levels, which was a real challenge for my husband; the staff were very friendly and moved us to a better room at no extra cost.

Because of a significant train delay we booked at the last minute. The staff were very friendly, and the proximity to the station is unbeatable. Unfortunately, when I asked for a copy of the bill I only received a duplicate; I never got the original invoice by email as promised, and it was not retrievable.
