Excellent location. Not exactly cheap, but in the end it pays off, at least for the building that towers over the city skyline. The staff could improve communication with international guests.

Located in Chongqing, The Westin Chongqing Liberation Square offers a spa and wellness centre, a 2-minute walk from the Chongqing People's Liberation Monument. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from Xiaoshenzi Subway Station and 6 minutes from Chaotianmen by car. Rooms feature air conditioning, iPod docks, and satellite TVs, with private bathrooms and electric kettles.

The location is great, breakfast offers a wide variety of foods, the rooms are comfortable, and the swimming pool is large. It does get quite crowded, though.

I visit China often, and this hotel tops all the others I've stayed at there. The rooms are spacious and cozy, and the lounge is outstanding with drinks, desserts, and even dinner—booking a room with lounge access lets you have all your meals of the day. It’s just a few minutes’ walk from main Jiafangebei street and close to Kuixing lou and Luohan temple. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the cash exchange service is a rarity in China. It’s the perfect place to finish a trip, otherwise you’ll set unrealistic expectations for the next hotels.

Uno degli hotel più belli in cui abbiamo mai soggiornato. La camera era splendida, elegante, spaziosa e molto confortevole, con una vista spettacolare sulla città e sul fiume, particolarmente suggestiva la sera. Tutta la struttura è di livello molto alto e la posizione è eccellente per visitare Chongqing. La colazione è stata semplicemente eccezionale, senza dubbio la migliore che abbiamo trovato durante tutto il nostro viaggio in Cina, sia per qualità sia per varietà. Abbiamo inoltre cenato in hotel e anche il ristorante è stato un’ottima esperienza: abbiamo mangiato davvero molto bene. Un soggiorno che ricorderemo e un hotel che consiglierei senza esitazioni

The hotel’s location, facilities, and food are all excellent. The only downside was a non‑English speaking concierge in the early morning who missed arranging our taxi to the airport.
