The building was extremely clean and stylish, almost like staying in a newly built friend's house rather than a guesthouse, and I’d definitely use it again when visiting Wakayama. The road to the accommodation isn’t paved, is narrow and a bit scary, and large vehicles would struggle.

We were the only guests that day, so I can’t comment on multiple groups, but the lodge sits beside a pristine pond. It’s quiet, with no city noise, just the sounds of nature and birds, and the facilities were perfect. The only suggestion would be to move checkout to 11 am.
