The bathrooms were clean, the bedroom felt cozy, and the balcony sitting area was nice even in the rain, but I only stayed one night so I can't say much else.

Overall, it was a great place to stay and I’ll definitely come back sometime. The photo of a shower/toilet in the standard double room’s gallery was misleading because it wasn’t part of the room but a communal area; I was told I should have read the included facilities.

The facilities and staff were good, the cafe bar was nice for working while sipping coffee, and the shower was super clean. The kitchen was cramped, and the place was far from the center, so I can't say much about safety, but walking from the center to Lion Head was doable in the afternoon.
