The rural, quiet setting was lovely; the "gentiane" room was very cozy and clean, the insect screen in front of the window was well thought out, the hosts were very kind and attentive, the vegetarian food was excellent, and a passing herd of cows with their gentle trot reminded us how good it is to simply slow down; the only drawback was that the bathroom ventilation couldn’t be turned off overnight, though the host was willing to take care of it.

We had a wonderful stay at La Comtoiserie. The accommodation is beautiful, cozy, and tastefully decorated. Carol and Benoit were very friendly and whipped up a delicious and extensive breakfast. There’s a small selection of regional products for purchase, so you can take a memory or a taste home with you. With only one night, we couldn’t use the spa this time, maybe next visit! In the little rural town of Nancray, it’s easy to relax :)

A truly special accommodation. We stayed in the green room with balcony and loved the tasteful décor. The lounge on the same floor offers a good and ample buffet breakfast, and dinner can be pre‑ordered from Carole. Everything was lovingly prepared and very tasty. We were warmly welcomed, served and cared for. She speaks not only French but also English and German.

Very friendly welcome. Carole and Benoit are wonderful hosts. The room is detailed and well furnished. Comfortable beds. Very good breakfast. Quiet location. Simply perfect!
