Veronica turned out to be a fantastic host, and she upgraded me to the Beach Shack; the shared stocked kitchen and roomy, comfy rooms were a hit, and the beach was just a couple of minutes’ walk while Byron’s center was a short stroll away.

The room was very comfortable and spotless, but the Wi‑Fi wouldn’t work in our bedroom—though it was fine elsewhere in the house.

“Would be Nice place to come with group of friends”

The bed was cozy and the room was roomy; the location was within walking distance of the beach and town center, though Shirley Street was noisy with traffic. The pool was decent. I didn’t realize the room was one of three in a shared house with a communal kitchen, lounge, and outdoor area, and there were internal stairs I wasn’t expecting. The TV was a bit small, and the Wi‑Fi wasn’t fast enough for streaming.

The property was modern and bright. The shared living, cooking and eating area ( for three rooms) led straight out to the veranda and pool and worked out incredibly well. Opposite was a similar 3 room property that shared the pool. It was a small, lovely community. The owner, Veronica, was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. She was so helpful and really made our stay go well. No negatives
