The location and the view from our beautiful room were great. The room was clean, well equipped, and the hot spa was excellent.

Overall, the stay was fine. The room had a few quirks, mainly because the floor levels changed throughout the space. You had to be careful when walking around since the flooring was the same colour and it was easy to miss the level changes, which could be a trip hazard. We could also hear the people above us moving around quite clearly; the tiled floors and the echo made the upstairs noise noticeable. The location is quite remote, with only two restaurants nearby, which were sufficient for a short two‑day stay but would feel limited if you stayed longer. Breakfast was nice, and the stay was fine for a couple of nights, but I felt it was somewhat overpriced for what you get, especially considering the room and the limited options in the surrounding area. The spot is great, away from the tourist crowds. The restaurant Sirocco is excellent, better than Root. A short walk up the road leads to a fantastic cliffside beach bar and a lovely beach. No crowds.
