The place is well situated—outside Kroonstad, close to the N1, yet not noisy at all. The hostess was excellent and even went out of her way to provide supper even though we hadn’t booked it. The little patio offers a lovely view of the “spruit.” The bed and shower were comfortable, and the hostess made sure we had power for our caravan.

The room was pristine, clean, and very comfortable. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I would visit again.

I loved every moment of the stay. I was impressed that they had decaf coffee sachets in the room, which was a big relief for me as a pregnant woman who can’t drink regular coffee. The view was beautiful. A wedding was held there, but it didn’t disturb us at all. We brought our two Yorkies, and there were no problems with having them there; they were secured behind a fence. There was a bottle of milk available, not the triangular milk that only colors the coffee a bit and still makes it bitter. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough to satisfy anyone. The ad said breakfast was R120 p/p as an add‑on, but it was R150 p/p. I don’t mind paying it at all because it’s definitely worth it, but you should know what to expect to pay.
