We have stayed here before when visiting my daughter and son‑in‑law; it’s a lovely, quiet place that really offers good value for money.

I was greeted warmly by the staff, but the room itself was filthy. We left two days early, lodged a complaint, and still haven’t received any response.

Nice room at the back so no real noise but as it's in the middle of nowhere there's not much noise anyway, the place hasn't really changed in over 40 years which I think is great. My husband being "a townie" wasn't keen on the lanes but as I said to him that's was part I why I booked it!!
