Chalupa Vaclav

The location, the apartment, the cleanliness, and the very nice owner were all great. In the small two‑person apartment the mattress wasn’t very comfortable or high quality, and on hot summer days I missed air conditioning. The attic room with one window could not be ventilated or cooled in any other way; a fan would have helped.

A great place, next to the Jašikova quarry, just a 5‑minute walk. Free parking on the lawn is convenient. The neighbor’s parrots chirp pleasantly by the window. We received one small towel from a person, and when we asked for another, they gave us one. The kitchenette has everything, including a fridge. For a tall person the bed can be too short. Smoking wasn’t allowed on the balcony. Our room’s shower enclosure was very small, making it hard for a taller person to fit in. It’s probably not the owners’ fault, but the navigation led us elsewhere; we had to search and ask people for a long time until we finally met a woman who knew and showed us. Focus mostly on the house number.

Polite owner, good location – close to the trail entrance. Near a restaurant and a bus stop.
