The location is exceptionally quiet in a lovely neighbourhood, just a five‑minute walk from the town centre, and the house itself is charming. The receptionist who checked me in was sensational—very welcoming and helpful—and overall it offered excellent value for money. The breakfast was a bit on the small side, the furniture is old (which is normal for a small provincial town and not necessarily a drawback), and the only real issue was mould on the cast‑iron radiators, which was surprising given how clean everything else was.

The staff were very nice, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was tasty, though the coffee could have been stronger.
