It’s perfect for a quiet stay not far from Tagbilaran; the owners and staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, and it’s great that the place is eco‑sustainable. I was a bit uncomfortable with geckos in the room, but it wasn’t a big issue.

The staff were attentive, very kind and smiling, and it was a real pleasure to interact with them. The food was very good, the rooms were amazing, and the location was incredible. The rooms, restaurant, pool and other common areas were super comfortable and cozy.

The service and staff are very friendly, the place is tranquil, the pool and activities are perfect, and the room is very spacious, but the mattress is hollow, the mosquito net doesn’t close, and the AC is very noisy.

Everything about this place is magical! Located in an elevated position overlooking the sea, surrounded by trees OM Horizon oozes peace and tranquility. The room (bungalow 1) was stunning with huge indoor space and a beautiful balcony with awesome views- the inclusion of a large telescope was a great addition. The outdoor shower was a joyous experience- you just have to try it to know what I mean! If you’re worried about the eco- toilet don’t be- it was changed daily, had no smell and was actually quite fun to use! The pool was clean and the perfect spot from which to watch the sunset with a cocktail in hand. The food was delicious and all home made from scratch to order. Our hosts Heidi and Clarice ( and others whose name we didn’t get) were so warm and friendly and offered a genuine welcome where nothing was too much trouble. Heidi arranged fabulous bespoke trips for us which allowed us to see the beauty of Bohol. We’re travelling the Phillipines at the moment and this is our favourite spot!. Absolutely nothing! My only regret is we didn’t stay longer-3 nights was not long enough!

Great accommodation. We loved our beautiful and spacious bamboo bungalow. The best part was the staff, who were friendly, smiling, and always ready to help. The bungalow was cleaned daily. The location is a bit remote and for some this might be challenging. Many mention the poor road condition. For us that wasn’t a problem. We rented a scooter, which we used and managed well even on the short rough road section at the end. If you’re not an experienced driver, I recommend asking the staff to arrange transport. They can set up various activities such as island hopping or a boat trip to see fireflies. We took the latter and it was AMAZING. Strong recommendation for that activity. Otherwise we rode the scooter around the island, e.g., to Chocolate Flowers and to see tarantulas. The rides were a lot, but for us it was just fun. The village Loayn is quite close and you can visit, for example, Angel’s burger, a local grill kiosk. Loboc is also nearby if you want a river cruise. The staff are ready to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner for you. Everything is fresh and GOOD. The pool was nice and the scenery was AWESOME! The village kids and adults greeted us happily every time we drove through to the accommodation and back.
