Staying at the desert camp gave exactly the experience we wanted – not luxury, but a genuine connection with the landscape and nature, and Mustaf’s camp delivered that flawlessly. Throughout our visit Mustafa was exceptionally helpful, courteous and kind, always ready to assist with anything we needed, and when the night got chilly he promptly supplied warm clothing and blankets so we felt comfortable and safe. We enjoyed a wonderful evening with Mustafa and his friend Hasan around the fire, with great food, music and lively conversation; Mustafa cooked a huge dinner and even thought of a vegetarian option, and the breakfast was equally tasty and plentiful. The sunrise walk over the sand dunes was unforgettable – the silence, colours and atmosphere stayed with us. Booking through the site includes breakfast, and you can add transport to and from the camp, dinner or even a camel trek for an extra fee. If you want an authentic desert experience with warm hospitality, this camp is an excellent choice.

Mustafa is an outstanding host who truly goes above and beyond to make his guests feel welcome. He's always attentive and makes sure everything is just right. The night spent at the camp was a highlight of our trip - Mustafa's music and drumming skills made the evening feel truly authentic. His camp is a labor of love, and it shows in every detail. We also appreciated his honesty and transparency about the prices, which was a refreshing change from some other desert camps we've encountered.
